Week 13—Testing
Coalesce Testing
This weeks focus was on implementing feedback from last week's testing session. I had planned to add sound effects, but due to time constraints I have decided to add extra levels instead.
Extra Levels
There is a new level between level 5 and 6 (making level 6 level 7) and an extra level at the end (level 8). Several people commented that level 6 was significantly harder than level 5, so adding a level in between should help with that.
Level 6 has a focus on falling from the top of the machine through the trough to toggle the bumpers. This needs to be done twice and the level is very hard to complete without using this technique.
I struggled with new ideas for level 8 , so I added an extra toggle switch of a different color. With additional toggle switches several more interesting levels could be created, but this is all I have time for. Level 8 and its extra toggle switch can be seen below.
